Can I replace the fibre cable myself?
Work on telecommunications cabling must be done by a registered cabler with an Optical Fibre Endorsement under the Australian Communications and Media Authority cabling rules. Optical fibre cable and connectors are very delicate. They must be cleaned, inspected and installed correctly using specialist tools. This is beyond the ability of the Handyman.
